POSTAGE/FREIGHT AND HANDLING INFORMATION FOR TREES AND FRUIT TREES

We are located at 167, Bay Road Mount Gambier (1.3kms South of the Blue lake) B66 or Riddoch Hwy for pick ups from Tuesday to Sunday & Monday Public Holidays to 4 pm. We also use local couriers throughout the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong etc. DELIVERY AREA – We deliver Australia Wide (subject to quarantine restrictions) with conditions below

Tree pricing

We offer grower direct pricing on all of our trees and you will find we are vastly cheaper than similar size trees across Australia. With the huge range of Trees on offer and and in many sizes/ grades it’s impossible for us to list all of the prices of each and every tree on our website.Specific information and photos for each can be gained by googling the name of the tree, please bare in mind a lot of websites may be from overseas and the information is not accurate for Australian conditions and even within Australia dimensions can vary markedly. Please contact us using the Enquiry Form or by phone to get professional advice to your area/ conditions.

We take great pride in growing our trees and fruit trees with stock available all year round. In Winter we offer Dormant Trees (often referred to as Bare rooted trees) for deciduous varieties and shipping of these items is slightly easier through Australia Post but we use all methods as outlined below.

Postage/ freight

As with the cost of our trees, we keep freight costs to a minimum by utilising our low contracted rates via several freight portals as well as Australia Post (where we have flat rate parcel rates Australia wide ) to source the cheapest price for your freight, this can be from all the major couriers such as Toll, Ipec, TNT, Allied and many more thus ensuring you are not paying too much for freight (afterall , who wants to pay freight when you can have more plants instead !! ) Approximate Freight can be quoted if you prefer before proceeding, however once packed we try to keep the volume and weights down as much as possible and only then will we get an accurate cost.

Other plants can be combined with your trees, including berries, perennials, roses etc and this will make you freight even more cost effective.

Despatch/ Waiting times

Remember trees are a living plant and particularly in the case of Dormant (bare rooted trees) the digging process from the paddock can take months ! Even though you may have ordered early in the year to secure your trees, we still have to wait to the correct time to process them and pack and this is often one of the busiest times from June- September and Spring and of course Christmas.

Containerised (potted) stock is despatched all year round. We generally say allow 10 – 14 business days for stock to be despatched (this varies with the volume of orders we have at any one given time), however we are a very busy operation and on occasion this time frame can be stretched.

Please DO NOT be concerned if you have not heard from us a we will be busily getting orders together to send as fast as we can. If you need by a certain date we will always try to accommodate this/ however it cannot be guaranteed. Similarly with potted stock, whilst it maybe growing away we simply get inundated with orders and try to turn orders around in 10 – 14 business days depending on the volume of orders ahead of yours. Some orders may leave the same day !!
